Cupping & Sensorial Analysis

Every Batch Cupped by SCA-Trained Analysts

Our in-house laboratory follows the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) cupping protocol — the global gold standard. Every roast batch is sensorially evaluated before approval for export.

  • SCA Cupping Protocol

Aroma, flavor, aftertaste, acidity, body, balance, sweetness and uniformity scored on a 100-point scale.

  • 🔬

    Physical Analysis

Moisture content, defect count, screen size and density measured for every green coffee lot.

  • 📊

    Roast Curve Monitoring

Digital roast logs ensure batch-to-batch consistency and full traceability for your private label.

  • 📦

    Retention Samples

Every shipment lot is sampled and stored for 12 months for post-delivery verification.

Quality FAQ

Technical Questions, Honest Answers

Common quality and compliance questions from our international buyers — answered in plain language by our export team.

Every order is anchored to a signed reference sample approved by the buyer. From that point, all production batches are cupped against the reference using SCA protocol, and roast curves are digitally monitored. If a batch scores outside the approved tolerance band, it doesn't ship — it gets re-roasted or replaced.
Yes. We provide free samples up to 500g per SKU for qualified B2B buyers (sample shipping is at buyer's cost). For larger evaluation lots or custom roast profiles, we run a sample production run charged at sample-scale pricing, fully credited against your first commercial order.
  • Standard catalog SKUs: from 1 pallet (~500 kg)
  • Custom blend / private label: from 1,000 kg per recipe
  • Full container (20' FCL): ~14,000–18,000 kg depending on packaging format
For specialty or single-origin lots, MOQ depends on green coffee availability and is quoted per request.
Yes. Each commercial shipment includes a Quality Assurance Annex with:
  • Cupping score (SCA scale)
  • Moisture content & defect count
  • Roast date & lot ID
  • QC analyst signature
  • Retention sample reference
Additional analyses (mycotoxins, pesticide residue, microbiological) can be commissioned from accredited 3rd-party labs on request.
Replacement terms are agreed before shipment and written into the contract. The standard process:
  • Buyer reports issue with photographic / sensorial evidence within 30 days of arrival
  • We re-cup our retention sample against buyer's claim
  • If deviation is confirmed, we issue a replacement or credit note for the affected volume
Disputes involving sensorial perception are resolved with a 3rd-party SCA-licensed Q-grader if needed.
Absolutely — that's the core of our private label service. We routinely adjust:
  • Roast level (light → dark, including Italian/French profiles)
  • Grind size (whole bean, espresso, moka, filter, Turkish)
  • Packaging format (250g, 500g, 1kg, capsules, sachets, instant)
  • Bag material (kraft, aluminum, valve, vacuum)
  • Label and artwork (your brand or co-branded)
Adjustments are validated through a sample run before commercial production.
Standard samples from existing SKUs: produced within 3–5 business days, shipped via courier (DHL/FedEx) in 3–7 business days depending on destination.

Custom samples (new blend / private label): 7–14 business days for production + shipping. Once you approve the sample, commercial production typically starts within 15–30 days for full container loads.
